Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 12 1977, Marcelo Pascual’s lifelong love of equestrian sports began at age 6 when he first started riding horses. With his father owning a polo club, it was only a matter of when, not if, he would follow in the same footsteps. By the tender age of 11,
Pascual was able to take his first steps into polo, often playing with his father and siblings. At age 18, what was set-up to be a storied polo career, began when Pascual turned professional, and quickly establishing himself across 6 years in France. The jet-setting player then spent 6 years in England, where he moved his polo organisation, before moving it to Italy to based in Villa Sesta Polo Club,
Pascual continued to traverse polo fields a cross Europe, playing regularly in Spain, Switzerland and France. It was during his time at Villa Sesta Polo Club that Pascual met Mohamed El Sewedy. Taken by his enthusiasm for the sport they both love, Pacual quickly became, not only a member of the King’s Polo Team, but an integral one that has brought years of experience to the table.
